We've been rewriting some of our original Strawberry Patches patterns and just to make sure everything was hunky dory before we printed the final version, I've been whipping up a few samples - proof reading as I go.
Our latest redo was our Little Bits Bib pattern. I love making these bibs because they go together so quickly, take very little fabric and make the sweetest practical gifts. Our new and improved version is slightly narrower than before so you can get four bibs out of a width of fabric (I'm very proud of my uncharacteristic thriftiness) and the seam across the front gives more opportunity to play with fun fabric combinations and trims.
When my sales rep showed me this fabric
I told her I had to buy it because in all the years I'd been buying fabric I had never seen robber fabric. Once it came though, I was perplexed as to what to make with it and what to pair it with.
Then I went to my stash and came up with this.
To me the most fun part was the text print that had been gifted to me this summer by a friend (it seems I have a reputation for being just slightly obsessed with text print. Thanks Kara!) = )
Anyway, thank you everyone who so patiently waited for us to get our act together and get this pattern done. I hope you will think it was worth the wait.
Encourage one another,
You can find me on Facebook between posts where I promise to annoy you almost daily with photos of new fabrics, shop news and Lucy.
