Do you remember last week when I told you the story of the mysterious chirping that caused Bill to dismantle the house and search the attic for the phantom sound?
And do you remember who was behind that whole fiasco?
Let me refresh your memory.
Well, there is a bit more to the story.
A little background:
Being an indoor kitty can sometimes be a bit dull. The call of the wild is strong. Days can be long in the confines of the same four walls you've explored since you were a kitten. You can only knock so many Limoges boxes onto the floor before life looses excitement and purpose.
Being an indoor kitty with a human who is wrapped around your little paw can however help break up the monotony.
Much to my discouragement Bill has started letting Lucy out in the garage when he first gets up in the morning. Lucy thinks the garage is a wildly fascinating and mysterious place to explore and she loves hanging out there for a while first thing in the morning.
This morning I went out to wish Lucy a good morning but she was no where to be found. As I was about to give up and go back into the house I happened to look up and spotted this.
The problem is that she is great at climbing up ladders, but coming down, not so much.
I'm happy to report that we didn't have to call the fire department after all.
