I've missed you. I love our times spent together here and I hope I can get back into the habit of checking in from time to time. No promises, but I'm going to try.
Thought maybe we should catch up a bit.
I've been eating a lot of this for dinner lately
See those frosted cookies there in the back (the ones like the ones that formerly covered the entire platter)? They are my all-time favorite cookie and are single handed-ly responsible for me falling off the No Sugar Bandwagon. Annette makes me a big platter of them every year at Christmastime and every year I eat. them. all. This year I seriously slapped her instead of thanking her for them. It wasn't nice of me but I secretly think it's her way of getting even for all the crazy things I get her into throughout the year.
Speaking of crazy stuff - how crazy cute is this?
Such a great way to use some old buttons (and boy do I have buttons)along with our Pam Kitty fabric. The template for the Dresden is from Lori Holt and we'll have everything you'll need to make these and other delectable morsels soon because...
Ekk! We have been having so much fun making quilts and pillows and TONS of these cute little bundles of fabric joy for our booth.
I doubt that anyone will be able to unwrap them though - they're just too stink'n cute the way they are!
And while we're on the subject of bundles of joy...
Bill and I are anxiously awaiting "The Call" to come pick up our new kitten. I've been washing up dishes and toys from kitties past in anticipation of the big day. It's a California law now that cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered before they leave the animal shelters so once you choose your new fur baby (or in this case, SHE chooses YOU) there is about a week's wait while they get her ready to come home. I have Susan Branch and her darling cat Jack
to thank for this new chapter in our lives and I'm sure I'll be boring you to tears with her once she arrives.
I'll be back soon for the countdown to the return of Downton Abbey along with photos from our tea and trunk show. Are you ready? Excited?? Dennis from Andover Fabrics gave us a bit of a clue as to who will play an important role in Season Four and I'll be sharing that with you too.
Life is full and oh, so sweet! XOXO
