I've been wanting some kind of cart for the store for a while now. Something to schlep machines to and from the tech room and something that could double as a fabric cart for when we need to move large quantities of fabric around.
This stuff is heavy people and we're not getting any younger.
I put Bill on it - told him that it had to be long enough to hold bolts of fabric, needed to be compact, but more than anything it needed to be cute. He found me this.
We call her our little red wagon and at $27.99 from Harbor Freight I'd say it's not only compact and cute but a real steal! When I expressed a concern that the sewing machines would scratch her red paint, Bill suggested a piece of carpet cut to fit. My answer was, "No, that will never do - it will cover up her cuteness. I'll make her a quilt"!
Bill just rolled his eyes.
Our little red wagon arrived just in the nick of time.
June. When we receive all our holiday fabrics.
This is my favorite Halloween fabric in almost forever. It reminds me of crepe paper streamers and tin noisemakers. Imagine party aprons, tablecloths and pillowcases. Imagine the disappointment when you come to get it in September and it's gone. Don't wait. You'll never forgive yourself. ha
This little army of naked bodies arrived this week too. Like solders standing at attention waiting for their marching orders. Dresses and tunics and pants are in the works. Can't wait to show you those. Our model maker extraordinaire, Beverly is working overtime too.
All this cuteness takes hours of work, but you're so worth it!
