The weatherman said this morning's low was the warmest in history - 84 degrees.
Time for The Glad Game.
I'm glad it's warm overnight so our pool stays nice and warm for my before bed swim. Helps me sleep like a baby! (I'm a wussy and won't swim if my pool water doesn't feel like a warm bath).
I'm glad I love to sew and that my sewing room is air conditioned and that I have a good ceiling fan. So glad I love sewing more than gardening!
I'm glad that Bill found a copy of Pollyanna for me on Amazon and I got to watch it with my grandchildren last week (even though they didn't love it nearly as much as I do).
I'm glad my mother always taught me to try and find the bright spots in life. We can choose to dwell on the negative or we can find something to be glad about.
I choose to be glad.
"...When you look for the bad, expecting it, you will get it. When you know you will
find the good—you will get that..."
