Monday we toured the underground sewers of Paris, something Bill has wanted to do since we first visited here years ago. So you know what that means don't you?
Tuesday we got to go to fabric stores!

Turnabout is fair play.

We saw buttons for miles

and ribbon in every size and description.

One thing you'll notice is that these merchants don't seem to worry about turning their inventory.

Some of it appeared to have been there for decades.

I doubt you'd walk in the door asking, "what's new"?

Today was heavenly. Even Bill enjoyed it. I was impressed with how easily we found our way around and worked the Metro. We are beginning to know the neighborhoods and feel quite comfortable getting around.
I had my list of favorites to revisit

and a few new spots to discover. We walked for miles then jumped on the Metro and headed home for a rest before dinner. I forgot to mention we seldom finish dinner before midnight. This from a couple who normally eats early and is in bed to read by eight or nine when we're home.

If you are curious about the names of the shops we visited you can find them there on my sidebar under The Paris I Love. I made a few wonderful new discoveries and will be adding them to my list when I get home.
Sadly today we must leave this jewel of a hotel and move just a few blocks away to Regais Christine. On our last visit to Paris we walked by the Christine one night after dinner and I was instantly captivated by her. We popped in to take a look around and vowed someday we'd return. I'm excited to show you a new hotel and to compare Christine to the L.
Until then...
Encourage one another,
Suzanne
