This is Lecien's  Whitewash by Meg Hawkey of Crabapple Hill Studio. Whitewash began as an assortment of coordinated background fabrics for embroidery and blossomed into a lovely line with the distinct French Industrial look of old worn galvanized metals, mercury glass and linens.  Perfect for home dec, embroidery and quilts.

And this is Meg's new pattern, Hopechest . Each Whitewash background square is hand stitched with an ornate, vintage looking monogram. I have a feeling some of you will digitize these and put your embroidery machine to work.
