We've just completed day one of quilt market and I must say it is by far the best market we've attended in years!
Here we are before the doors opened.
Notice my Master Card there behind my name badge. It's important to keep it handy at all times so it can be whipped out at a moments notice.
OMG. We were constantly reminding ourselves to focus, focus, focus.
There were so many distractions.
Take this man for instance.
Hey, lady. Wanna buy some thread?
And this guy in the Michael Miller booth
They were selling pregathered ruffles by the yard in several sizes and you can bet I bought them so Bill too can have a girlyman shirt just like his.
Remember when I showed you the Japanese booth filled with fruit and desserts made out of felt? Well now they have wind up toys made from felt.
This is where I almost lost it.
Breath...
It's the Crabapple Hill booth and these antiqued tags were hanging from a huge tree, each stamped with a word or phrase. Customers would come up and write their names on the backs - Kind of like a guest book.
(I'm not sure I can take another two days of this).
Here's Amanda holding our new favorite pillow.
(I told her that I thought any boss would love a pillow like this as a gift).
This is a new line of yummy flannel called Winter Whites.
I loved these quilts so much that I bought all the flannels to make them. Then when we got to our room Kara had emailed me to say that the Winter White flannels had come in today.
Oops! Guess I forgot that I already ordered them. (I'll be making some corrections to that order this morning).
Well, gotta hit the shower since we're off early this morning for a three hour Moda appointment.
Breath....
Encourage one another,
Suzanne
