Bill and I are flying to Kansas in the morning for a long weekend with our grand kids.
After my cancer scare I got to thinking, what if I should die before I show my grand kids how fun it is to sew? After all, they are seven and nine - the perfect ages to see what all the fun is about. How could I let another year go by without sewing with them?
So I packed up a Bernina, filled the box with sewing supplies and shipped it ahead to my grand kids house in Kansas with instructions not to open the box until we get there.
My daughter in law called to say that the kids are so excited to see the "Brianna" in the box and to see what it can do.
We are going to have so much fun making key chains for everyone they know. And maybe a pillowcase or two. We'll see.
One thing I do know for sure. We'll make lots of memories if nothing else.
I think I'm probably more excited than they are and you can bet I'll be taking lots of pictures.
Encourage one another,
